The MS Run the US – 2013 Relay begins April 15th, 2013 in Los Angeles, CA and finishes on September 6th, 2013 in New York, NY. Sixteen (16) runners have been selected to individually run the equivalent of approximately a marathon (26.2 miles) every day for six (6) consecutive days during their assigned segment. The entirety of the Relay will span 145 days in an effort to raise $500,000 to help cure multiple sclerosis.
All public donations are given to the National MS Society to fund research for a cure.
The MS Run the US – 2013 Relay
Each Relay Runner selected, 16 runners total, will join and stay with the MS Run the US caravan on the road individually as they run the distance of their assigned section. Distance of each segment is approximately 140 miles of running in six days, with distance and duration varying from section to section.
